This Hip Hop album showcases Pooh-Man’s continued dedication to the Gangsta Rap genre and features collaborations with well-known artists such as Ant Banks, Yukmouth, B-Legit, and Spice 1.

The 12-track album is filled with raw, street-oriented lyrics and hard-hitting beats that are true to Pooh-Man’s signature style. Standout tracks include “Fire” featuring Ant Banks, “Mean Muggin” featuring Vidal and Yukmouth, and “Murder Murder” featuring Spice 1. The album demonstrates Pooh-Man’s versatility and ability to create captivating stories through his lyrics.

Born Lawrence Lee Thomas on January 25, 1969, Pooh-Man, also known as MC Pooh and MC Pooh-Man, has been active in the music industry since the early 1990s. With several albums released on various labels, including Jive Records, his lyrics often focus on topics such as sex, money, and murder. He also made a small appearance in the film “Menace II Society,” playing the character Doc.

His most notable album, 1992’s “Funky as I Wanna Be,” featured guest appearances by MC Breed, Too Short, and Ant Banks, peaking at #158 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2000, Pooh-Man faced legal troubles and was sentenced to 6 years in prison for bank robbery. Despite this setback, the release of “Fuckin’ Wit Dank 2001” highlights his ability to persevere and maintain his place in the rap industry.
