Description
Three Dimensional Ear Pleasure is the second studio album by rapper C-Funk from East Palo Alto, California. Released on May 30, 1995, by Scarface Records and Priority Records, this album showcases C-Funk’s unique blend of gangsta rap and G-Funk styles.
The album begins with the atmospheric “3-D Intro,” setting the stage for the tracks that follow. “Keep Rollin'” is a smooth and rhythmic tune, while “Don’t You Know?” features the soulful vocals of Da Old Skool. “Lime In Ya Coconut” offers a catchy melody, with music by Paris, who also serves as the album’s producer.
Other standout tracks include “Chill & Kick Back,” a laid-back ode to relaxation, and “Get Off My Sack,” which features Da Old Skool’s vocals once again. The album continues with “Whoop Whoop, Yeah Yeah,” another collaboration with Da Old Skool, which adds a lively energy to the project.
Recorded at Scarface Sound West and mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering, Three Dimensional Ear Pleasure showcases the talents of various artists, such as engineer Eric Valentine, illustrator Paris, and graphic designer Todd D. Smith. The album’s photography is credited to Marcus Hanschen, and the mastering is handled by Big Bass Brian.
Three Dimensional Ear Pleasure is a must-listen for fans of West Coast hip-hop, as it encapsulates the spirit and sound of the mid-90s G-Funk era, with C-Funk’s lyrical prowess and Paris’s exceptional production skills.
