Description

“Bad N-Fluenz” is the one and only studio album by the Oakland, California-based hip-hop duo Rappin’ Ron & Ant Diddley Dog. Released in 1995 by Cell Block Records, the album showcases a mix of Gangsta and G-Funk styles that were popular in the West Coast hip-hop scene at the time. The 13-track album features guest appearances by Mr. Ill, Seagram, Too Short, and Street Thugs, adding their unique flavor to the album.

Notable tracks on the album include “All Rapped Up,” “How The Gangsters Do It,” “The Bomb,” “Ruff Like Pavement,” and “Dirty Work,” which features Mr. Ill, Seagram, and Too Short. The album was produced by a variety of talents, including Ant Banks, B. Branch, GO Twice, Mike, and Sonny, while being mixed by Ant Banks and mastered by George Horn.

Rappin’ Ron & Ant Diddley Dog formed their duo in 1993 and were closely associated with Too Short and The Dangerous Crew. They made their debut appearance on Too Short’s 1993 album “Get in Where You Fit In.” Tragically, Rappin’ Ron was killed in a car accident in 1996, marking the end of the duo’s collaboration.

“Bad N-Fluenz” serves as a testament to the talent and potential of Rappin’ Ron & Ant Diddley Dog and is an essential listen for fans of 1990s West Coast hip-hop.
