Description

“The Tribulation…” is the fifth studio album by Oakland, California rapper Pizzo, released on August 12, 2003, under RoundnaWorld Entertainment, Out Of Bounds, and Big V Entertainment. This 21-track album showcases Pizzo’s gangsta style, which has made a significant impact on the West Coast hardcore underground scene.

The album features collaborations with renowned artists like E-40, Laroo, C-Bo, Daz, Lil Styles, and more. With tracks ranging from hard-hitting gangsta anthems to introspective reflections, “The Tribulation…” displays Pizzo’s versatility and lyrical prowess. Pizzo’s skills as both a rapper and producer are evident throughout the album, with production credits on several tracks.

Pizzo, born Dwayne Tucker, debuted in 1995 with “Heaterman” and continued with the arsonist motif in successive releases, including two albums for the noteworthy Awol label: “Heater Calhoun” (1999) and “Pizzo” (2000). Over the same period, Pizzo produced for fellow hardcore rappers like Agerman, C-Bo, Lunasicc, and Marvaless and made numerous guest appearances, solidifying his position in the West Coast hip-hop scene.
