Game Related, the debut EP by Oakland, California rapper J. Dubb (real name Leo Ramsey), hit the streets on October 10, 1995, under Relentless Records. This groundbreaking release features six tracks that embody the gangsta rap and G-funk styles, showcasing J. Dubb’s lyrical prowess and talent as a producer.

The EP kicks off with “Trouble,” featuring heavyweights Spice-1 and Too $hort, setting a high standard for the rest of the album. This track perfectly encapsulates the West Coast hip-hop sound and is followed by “Paper Chase,” which features Gansta P and vocals from Stacy Hogg.

“I’m A Player,” another collaboration with Too $hort, brings a catchy and infectious hook to the table, while “Where It’s At” features Father Dom and J. Spencer, adding more layers and depth to the EP. The last two tracks, “Foreal” and the titular “Game Related,” showcase J. Dubb’s skills as a solo artist, delivering powerful verses and memorable beats.
