Description

Blast If I Have To is a 1995 EP release by Oakland rapper E-A-Ski. This classic West Coast hip-hop project was released by Priority Records and showcased E-A-Ski’s unique style, mixing gangsta rap with the G-Funk sound that dominated the era. The EP features seven tracks, including the title track “Blast If I Have To,” which also appeared on the “Friday” movie soundtrack. Other standout tracks include “When The Smoke Clears” and “Same Ole Nigga.”

E-A-Ski, born Shon Adams, is a multi-talented rapper and producer who gained fame in the early 1990s working with Master P’s No Limit Records. Throughout his career, E-A-Ski has released several projects, showcasing his skills as both a rapper and producer, working with various artists such as Spice 1, Kam, Luniz, Ice-T, and Master P. Blast If I Have To is a testament to E-A-Ski’s talent and is a must-listen for any fan of West Coast hip-hop.
