Description
“The Remix LP” is a compilation album by the rap collective DPGC from Long Beach, California. Released in 2002 by Dogg Pound Records, this compilation features remixed versions of some of the group’s most popular tracks, showcasing their signature G-funk and gangsta rap style. DPGC, also known as Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips, includes members such as Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, and Nate Dogg.
The 18-track album kicks off with “Intro” and proceeds with a series of remixes that breathe new life into the original songs. Highlights include “Let Me Ride (Extended Funk Remix),” “Gin N Juice (Laid Back Remix),” “What’s Love Got To Do With It (Warren G Remix),” and “Regulate (G-Funk Remix).”
