Description
Blood Money is a demo tape by Steady Mobb’n, a rap group from Oakland, California. The EP was originally released in 1995 by GT Productions on cassette tape only. The project features five tracks, including collaborations with Pooh-Man on “Balla Balla” and What Ya Need? on “Ghost Town Bump.”
Steady Mobb’n gained notoriety in the Bay Area for their gritty, gangsta-style lyrics and beats. Blood Money showcases the group’s raw talent and the unique flavor of West Coast hip hop in the mid-1990s. The EP was produced by Sadiki Richardson, also known as Grand Daddy Keys, and mastered by Michael Romanowski at Rocket Lab.
Although Blood Money was only released on cassette tape, it remains a sought-after collector’s item for fans of Steady Mobb’n and Bay Area rap.
